This is the home of Winter, the star of the movie - Dolphin Tale. Winter was found injured in 2005 and lost her tail. Google "winter, the dolphin" - if you want to know more!
This boat was actually used in the movie!
The kids holding one of Winter's prosthetic tails...she's had 18 made for her over the past several years!
Winter, and perhaps other rescued dolphins, actually painted this turtle!
St. Petersburg, FL Beach
We went a little further south and found St. Petersburg. This was a lovely beach! The water wasn't super warm, but we got used to it quickly. Lizzie just swam like a fish...Jeremy and I were happy thigh deep!
The boys enjoyed playing in the sand!

Haha... I actually didn't take shorts for the kids, except their swim trunks. But, instead of 70 degree weather, we had mid to upper 80 degree weather! So, we made the trip to Walmart!
